I don't know about the R-Tech 110 you speak of, but I've mixed C-12 and Sunoco Purple 110 leaded and had no problems.

As far as I can tell, all the HRC throttle bodies from NF4, NF5, NX4 and NX5 are the same, only the cables are different.
The NXA throttle might be different.
The spare cable? Either just cut it off ...
